Notes: 11:00am Telephone contact to client (Irene Kovacs) from counsellor LA was unsuccessful. PURPOSE OF CALL: A courtesy follow up telephone call to discuss her referral. CALL CONTENT: Client stated the following * she has a support worker from ct for Kids(Tania) in Maryborough * Youth worker from Bridges (Kathy) in Bundaberg attends the Dallarnil school every Wednesday and works with her daughters * she has 2 daughters (Kira-Lee 10yr and Lulu 8yr) * she doesn't come to Bundaberg very often * she doesn't want to refer her daughter but would prefer family sessions as Kira-Lee is Autistic and doesn't do well with strangers DISCUSSED with Irene options 1) counsellor could send her information on 'Protective Behaviour Education' and she could work through the program with her daughters * she could share the information with the YW and asks her to work through the PP information with the children at school (both daughters have a good rapport with Kathy) *** Irene Kovacs gave verbal permission for counsellor LA to contact sw (Tania) at 'Act for Kids' to discuss a case plan for the family ** Irene stated she has not been in contact with the youth worker (to inform her of Kira-Lee) because of the school holidays and did not give permission for counsellor to contact the YW OUTCOME: Counsellor to contact SW ** counsellor to contact client on Thursday 9-07-2020 to discuss the case plan further.
